Karl Barth, the theologian of the Neo-Orthodox position, did have some good things to say. I found a few thought-provoking phrases in a book I read about him:
Describing Christ’s incarnation:
“The Way of the Son of God into the Far Country”
A “Condescension Inconceivably Tender”
Describing Christ’s death:
“The Judge Judged in Our Place”
Miscellaneous:
“Love is a determination of the whole human being.”
“Life is a temporary loan from God.”
“We live with the knowledge that we must die.”
